Art Gallery Visit #2












Step 1: The Exhibition
Questions about the exhibit:
1. What is the title of the exhibit?
* Charles E. Burchfield collections

2. What is the theme of the exhibition?
* exhibit the work of Charles E. Burchfield

Step 2: The Gallery
Questions about the physical space:

1. What type of lighting is used?
* very low bright lighting was used at the gallery

2. What colors are used on the walls?
* white cream color

3. What materials are used in the interior architecture of the space?
* chairs and tables 
4. How is the movement of the viewer through the gallery space?
* very relaxing thats how i felt.

Step 3: The Artwork
Questions about the artwork:
1. How are the artworks organized?
* it was very well organized with frames on each and very well separated

2. How are the artworks similar?
* similar in a way that most had similar elements of art used such as Burchfield's paintings

3. How are the artworks different?
* different in terms of elements and principle of art used might differ.

4. How are the artworks framed?
* Yes all

5. How are the artworks identified and labeled?
* the artists name, title of art, year

6. What is the proximity of the artwork to each other?
* very neat and clean 

7. What did you think of visiting the Gallery and purposefully looking at the exhibition from a different perspective - the physical space, the architecture, theme, etc.?
* overall i liked the setting of the gallery and how organized the artworks were displayed.
